Some sort of dispute erupted and police said one of the three men opened fire, killing 15-year-old Isiah Joseph and wounding 20-year-old Shemar Williston.
Williston lives close by to the scene of the shooting with his uncle.
"I just happened to hear the gunshot and I just run outside at the same time and I came down and I see one guy laying over there, and my nephew was standing right there," he said.
Williston's mother learned of the shooting a little later.
"I just got a phone call from work and they told me my son got shot," she said.
Williston is in stable condition at Brookdale Hospital, Stern reported.
Sources told 1010 WINS the shooting could possibly be gang related.
