Tax Man Coming For Deadbeats In Yonkers
YONKERS, NY (WCBS 880) - Have you failed for years to pay property taxes in Yonkers? Well, the city is coming after you!

Yonkers Mayor Phil Amicone says they're out to collect millions in back property taxes from businesses and home owners.
"Right now, we're estimating it at around $15 million," Amicone tells WCBS 880 reporter Catherine Cioffi.
Amicone says the city has been letting things go, but their new motto 'pay up or face a foreclosure auction.'
"These are abusers. These are people who've been out there for years not paying their taxes, and it's about time that they start so that the rest of the city doesn't have carry them," says Amicone.
