Sweeny: Yankees' David Robertson Pitches In

Yankee reliever David Robertson knows what trouble looks like. He usually finds it when he comes into a ballgame with runners on base. Robertson escapes trouble so frequently that Joba Chamberlain has started to call him "Houdini."
But what Robertson saw Thursday in his hometown of Tuscaloosa, Alabama was unlike anything he'd seen before. Robertson grew up hearing sirens for tornado warnings, but never experienced one like the one that hit just a few miles from his boyhood home last month. Robertson and his wife Erin used the off-day in the schedule to visit the devastation up close and get started on their efforts to clean up and help those in need.
Here is Robertson speaking to reporters Friday about what he saw in his first visit back to the place he no longer recognized:
