As 1010 WINS' Sonia Rincon reported, not one person at the Parckchester building where the assault happened had even heard about it Tuesday night. And they wondered why building management had failed to alert them.
Law enforcement sources told 1010 WINS the man offered the teen money to touch him, but then forced himself on him and attacked him.
A resident, Carlos, said he was horrified after learning about the attack.
"It's not right, you know. Anything that has to do with attacks on minors is not good," he said. "I have a 14-year-old daughter."
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, approximately 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds. He was seen wearing a black winter jacket, brown hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, brown work boots, brown baseball cap with a yellow brim and yellow "NY" letters. He was also carrying a long black umbrella.
