EAST ORANGE, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A suspect has been arrested and charged in the murder of a 17-year-old high school senior in East Orange, N.J.
Al-Muqqadin Means, 18, was arrested around noon Monday and charged in the murder of Aquilla Flood, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray announced.
Flood, a senior at Campus High School, was found dead around 7:30 a.m. last Wednesday inside her East Orange home.
Means was arrested in Newark. Also arrested was Tasjoin Williams, 19, of Newark, who was wanted for an armed robbery in West Orange. There was no indication that Williams was involved in the Flood case.
