NYPD: Man Follows Woman From Train Station, Assaults Her Inside Apartment Building

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A woman was sexually abused by a man who followed her from a subway station to her friend's apartment building Saturday night, the NYPD said.

Police said the man followed the 38-year-old Bronx woman from the 25th Street station in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. He went inside the apartment building and grabbed her between the first and second floors.

The woman fell and he sexually abused her, police said.

She suffered minor injuries.

Police are still searching for the man, who was described as having a light complexion, approximately 23 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with short, straight black hair. He was last seen wearing a two-toned bubble jacket and dark jeans.
