Sunday: Windy, Sunny And Cold
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- There's nothing warm about Sunday's forecast. Other than sunny, the Tri-State will be kept cool thanks to wind gusts of up to 26 mph and freezing temperatures all day long. The high will be 33 degrees and the low will be 24 degrees.
The winds will continue to be a factor for the next 24 to 30 hours, reports CBS 2 meteorologist John Marshall.
While the Tri-State will get a break from the seemingly ongoing snowstorms at the end of this week and the beginning of this coming week, there's another system building in the South that may bring another snowfall come Tuesday.
There's a chance of yet another snowstorm on late Tuesday and into early Wednesday. The low pressure system may move farther east, however, computer systems are showing the likelihood of hovering over the Tri-State.
Looking ahead into the week, the highs will continue to be in the low- to mid-30s and the lows will be in the low-20s.
Once again, the Tri-State is experiencing some very active weather patterns with storm after storm after storm.
