Summer vs. Fall: The Pros And Cons Of Changing Seasons
By Dan Morgridge
Labor Day comes at an interesting time of year. Caught between two seasons, we're left picking sides: do we try to Hold On To Summer or Embrace Fall. Traditionally, you'd have a hard time arguing against summer being people's favorite season. Memories of school vacations, trips to the beach, ice cream and sunshine tilt the odds pretty heavily in its favor. But at the same time, there's plenty of reasons why people would be happy to see summer wrap it on up, and move into the calm of fall.
Are you going to tearfully bid farewell to summer parties and sadly put on extra layers for fall? Or are you the type that can't wait for school to be back in session and football season to start? We've got a list of all the reasons why each of these seasons is awesome, and possibly the best season of them all. (Others might argue that each is its own beautiful moment in the cycle of the seasons, whose changes make us appreciate the differences, but that's crazy talk).
