Gross says the suspect was a guest at the Royal Atlantic Hotel in Montauk.

He says a rock the size of a brick was thrown at one of the seagulls and it began throwing up blood and bread.

He says a woman walking along the beach captured it on video.

The SPCA is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction in the case.

Recently, Gross says a swan was found impaled by an arrow and a turtle with a nail in its shell.
