The real estate site StreetEasy looked back at recorded sales for the last decade.
The found median prices 49% higher citywide when compared to 2010. In some neighborhoods prices more than doubled.
Nancy Wu, an economist from StreetEasy, stopped by CBSN New York to discuss the changes.
The neighborhoods where median sales prices rose the most?
- Cobble Hill, up 211%
- Greenpoint, up 192%
- Lower East Side, up 168%
