Storm Preparedness Drill Continues In Connecticut
HARTFORD, Conn. (CBSNewYork) - With hurricane season well underway, Connecticut wants to be prepared in case a another big storm hits.
So, Monday marked day three of a storm preparedness drill in the state.

The idea is to boost communication and response. The devastating Halloween weekend freak snowstorm wiped out power to most residents, some for more than a week.
It brought criticism about slow response.
Scott DeVico, spokesman for the state's emergency services department, said towns and utility companies are prepping for a category three hurricane.
"We have virtually every state agency participating. Red Cross, United Way, 211, and, of course, the state's utility companies," he told WCBS 880 Connecticut Bureau Chief Fran Schneidau.
He said that when the four day exercise is over there will be a careful review.
"To see what we did right, what we did wrong, and to identify gaps so we can be better prepared in the future," he said.
