Concordia College Students Hospitalized From Stomach Bug
BRONXVILLE, NY (CBSNewYork) - Five college students in Westchester County have been hospitalized with a stomach virus.
Cleaning crews were out across the Concordia College campus Tuesday, and in the hallways, the odor of bleach lingered in the air, WCBS 880's Paul Murnane reported.
25 to 30 students reported the stomach bugs starting on Friday night, says associate dean of students Chris Koutsovitis.

"There's stomach cramping, diarrhea and vomiting, and it lasts some students anywhere from 12 to 24 hours," Koutsovitis said.
Five students dehydrated by the ordeal went to the hospital, and emails have gone out to keep faculty, staff and students in the loop.
"We got another [email] from the commons saying what food they're going to be serving all week, cause, like, no one is eating," one student said.
In order to fight the virus, Koutsovitis is urging students to wash their hands carefully and continually sanitize whenever possible.
Only one virus has been reported on Monday, giving rise to the hope that the worst is over.
