4 Killed, 15 Wounded When Truck Crashes Into Stockholm Shopping Center In Apparent Terror Attack
STOCKHOLM (CBSNewYork/CBS News/AP) - A truck crashed into a department store in central Stockholm Friday.
Sweden's Prime Minister Stefan Lofven called the incident "a terror attack."
Four people were killed and 15 wounded, Stockholm police officials said. Nine of the injuries are considered serious.

Police have arrested a person "that can have some kind of connection" to the attack was arrested. It was not clear if they were hunting for additional suspects.
The suspect was arrested in the northern Stockholm suburb of Marsta. The suspect was originally spotted "in the vicinity" of the crash, police said.
The beer delivery truck used in the attack was allegedly carjacked earlier in the day, according to reports in Swedish media.
The attack took place in the middle of the day. Witnesses say the driver of the truck aimed at the crowd and drove it into a store's front window.
After the crash, authorities stopped train service in Stockholm and closed streets. Police were telling people to avoid downtown Stockholm.
"The aim of terrorism is to undermine democracy," Lofven said. "But such a goal will never be achieved in Sweden."
"We follow developments but as of now our thoughts go to the victims and their families," said Sweden's King Carl XVI Gustaf.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel said her government's "thoughts are with the people in Stockholm, the injured, the relatives, first responders and police."
The NYPD said it was monitoring the incident.
Although there are no known imminent threats to Nassau County, police are also monitoring the attacks, and intensifying patrols at all governmental buildings, mass transit, critical infrastructure, houses of worship and at significant public events.
The incident echoes a recent attack in London. On March 22, a lone attacker drove an SUV into a crowd of pedestrians on Westminster Bridge and then rammed the gates of parliament. Five people were killed along with the attacker in that incident. A Romanian tourist who had been injured in the attack became the fifth person to die from her injuries when she was taken off life support Thursday.
Paris' mayor said the Eiffel Tower will go black at midnight in homage to Stockholm after the attack.
