WCBS 880's Rich Lamb reports

"Most of the strains we're seeing in New York City now are what's called H3N2, which is different from the strain that we saw last year, the new H1N1, but we are seeing some H1N1," Farley told WCBS 880 reporter Rich Lamb. "...but the vaccine covers against all the strains of flu that are circulating."

Dr. Farley says the vaccines are widely available and the guidelines this year recommend everyone be vaccinated, from school children to the elderly.

Making sure you have some chicken soup around couldn't hurt either.
