Stephanie & Tony's Table: Turkey Chili
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A simple chili recipe with a kick can heat things up on a cold night.

Turkey Chili
1/2 lb. Ground Turkey
1 Can Black Beans
2 Yams
Scallions
Carrots
Tomatoes
Cajun Spice
Preparation:
Add hot oil to a pan and begin to caramelize the carrots and scallions.
Once golden and soft, start browning the ground turkey.
When partially browned, add tomatoes and cook together for a few minutes before adding in yams, followed by black beans.
Pour in about 1 cup water, slowly deglazing the pan.
Serve hot.
