Staten Island Man Arrested In Alleged Subway Sexual Assault
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police say they've caught the man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman at a subway station on November 10th.
Police say Samuel Mangum, 50, is the person who accosted a 42-year-old woman boarding the M train at the Broadway and Houston Street station. Police say Mangum, who lives on Staten Island, attacked the woman from behind then ran off.
Police say Mangum is the man with a heavy build, wearing metal frame glasses and carrying a backpack who was caught on surveillance video at the station.
Mangum faces sex abuse charges.
