Ski Businesses Eager For Temperatures To Fall
MAHWAH, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- The only thing that was white on Campgaw Mountain in Mahway on Monday was the dense fog. There was not a trace of snow.
The Tri-State area saw temperatures reach the 60s for the fifth straight day. But Kristin Orozovich, Ski Campgaw's general manager, is hoping the slopes there will be open by Christmas.

"For a business standpoint, it's very important for us," she told WCBS 880's Peter Haskell.
That week is Campgaw Mountain's second busiest week of the season.
"We have an entire week that our operating hours are longer," Orozovich said.
The plan is to be making the snow by this weekend.
"We need temperatures under 28 degrees with low humidity," Orozovich said.
She said the snow guns need to be going for a week before the slopes can open.
