Windy weather this week brought cold air to the Tri-State area, making it feel like winter has finally arrived. Thursday will be brisk and cold with a high of 38.
The winter snap will not last very long. Temperatures are expected to hit 52 Friday and remain in that range through the New Year's weekend.
For some snow bunnies, whether the white stuff came from the skies or a machine, the weather won't keep them away from the slopes.
"It's just like you're gliding on air. It's awesome. I love it," said snowboarder Sean Gaffney.
"It's really just an adrenaline rush," said another. "There's nothing like it."
