Sketch Released Of Man Wanted In Attempted Kidnapping In The Bronx
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for an attempted kidnapping in the Bronx.
The incident happened Friday morning around 7 a.m. The suspect, a man in his 50's, approached a 6-year-old boy in front of 4140 Hutchinson River Parkway, police said.
The suspect grabbed the boy by the arm and told him to come with him to his house. A passerby intervened the suspect fled, authorities said.
The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion, a thick grey & white beard and mustache. He was wearing a black baseball cap, green camouflage pants and black boots, police said.
