Signal Problems Cause Delays On Numerous Subway Lines
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Getting around underground was a bit more of a challenge than usual Wednesday morning due to extensive signal trouble on several subway lines.
The Metropolitan Transit Authority said a problem with the automated train computer system caused delays along the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and S subway lines.
The difficulties began at around 9:30 a.m. but were resolved by around 10 a.m.
Service resumed with residual delays, the MTA said.
