Shoppers Rush To Finish Gift Lists Following Snowstorm
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Now that the storm has passed many are rushing to finish their holiday gift list in time.
As CBS 2's Amy Dardashtian reported Sunday, there are only 10 days left until Christmas.
Store owners in Westchester County and Hudson Valley, where it snowed up to seven inches, told Dardashtian they are hurting from the lost day of holiday shopping that Saturday's storm caused.
At Woodbury Common Outlets in Central Valley, stores have extended hours to accommodate holiday shoppers.
That wasn't necessarily the case on Long Island, where many shoppers braved the elements to finish their Christmas lists even during the storm.
