Shia LaBeouf Appears In Court, Says He's Keeping Sober
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Shia LaBeouf appeared in court in Manhattan on Tuesday to assure a judge that he is staying sober.
The "Transformers" star pleaded guilty in September to disorderly conduct charges stemming from an incident at a Broadway show this summer.
LaBeouf, 28, was charged with criminal trespassing and two counts of disorderly conduct after he disrupted a performance of "Cabaret" at Studio 54 in June.

If the actor continues treatment at an alcohol rehab program in Los Angeles and stays out of trouble for six months, the charges would be dropped, WCBS 880's Irene Cornell reports.
In the brief court appearance, LaBeouf's lawyer said his client is doing a great job in the program.
Witnesses and police said LaBeouf was yelling profanities inside the theater and later spit on a police officer.
Two theatergoers told CBS2 they saw him in a ripped shirt a block away from the theater while they were walking to the show. They said LaBeouf was chasing after a man who appeared to be homeless.
The witnesses said they also saw LaBeouf stumbling inside the theater and in the bar, and feeding a woman a strawberry from her own plate.
Police said LaBeouf was also smoking inside the theater and refused to stop.
