Queens Mail Carrier Accused Of Stealing Credit Card From Postal Route, Using It For Plastic Surgery
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Queens mail carrier is accused of stealing a credit card on her delivery route and using it for $8,000 worth of plastic surgery.
The Queens District Attorney's office says 31-year-old Shakera Small allegedly took the credit card from mail addressed to a home in Jamaica in 2019.
She's accused of using the card to pay for elective surgery on Long Island.
Small faces identity theft and grand larceny charges and seven years in prison if convicted.
