Service Changes To Impact More Than A Dozen Subway Lines This Weekend
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - If you're taking the subway this weekend, you should plan on your trip taking a little longer than usual.
Here's a look at some of the service changes, courtesy of the MTA's website:
No trains between 161 St-Yankee Stadium and Woodlawn
Trains run local in both directions between Grand Central-42 St and Brooklyn Bridge
Trains run every 20 minutes between Dyre Av and Bowling Green
Trains run local in both directions between Grand Central-42 St and Brooklyn Bridge
Castle Hill Av Station is closed for rehabilitation
Middletown Rd Station is closed for rehabilitation
No trains between Queensboro Plaza and Times Sq-42 St
The last Manhattan-bound train departs 74 St at 11:15 PM
Flushing-bound express service ends at 9:30 PM
Downtown trains run local from 125 St to 59 St
Inwood-bound trains skip Spring St, 23 St and 50 St
No trains between Howard Beach-JFK and Mott Av
No trains between Howard Beach-JFK and Mott Av
No shuttle train between Broad Channel and Beach 90 St
42 Street Shuttle operates overnight
168 St-bound trains skip Spring St, 23 St and 50 St
Jamaica Center-bound trains skip Spring St and 23 St
Boarding Change at 3 Av and 1 Av Stations
Downtown trains run local from 145 St to 59 St-Columbus Circle
Jamaica-bound trains run express from Church Av to Jay St-MetroTech
No trains running
- Free shuttle buses provide alternate service Weekends, 11:45 PM Fri to 5 AM Mon, until Nov 4
- Buses run between Metropolitan Av and Myrtle Av, making all station stops.
- Transfer between buses and trains at Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs.
- Transfer between buses and trains at Myrtle Av.
Service ends after 11:40 PM Friday
Coney Island-bound trains run via the from 36 St to Stillwell Av
Manhattan-bound platforms at Cortelyou, Beverley Rds and Parkside Av closed for rehabilitation

Trains may not connect with the Staten Island Ferry
