Secret Service: 11 Agents Placed On Leave After Being Caught With Prostitutes
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The United States Secret Service said 11 agents have been placed on leave, caught with prostitutes ahead of a presidential visit.
Congressman Pete King said he can't remember another incident like this involving a group of Secret Service agents.
"This is very unusual," King told WCBS 880's Alex Silverman.

As the House Homeland Security Committee chair, he got a briefing on the situation.
"By bringing these prostitutes or these women into an area which is basically a secure zone -- where they could have overheard something -- they could have learned what was being done as far as security," King said.
And the agents could have opened themselves up to blackmail, King said, adding that they were quickly replaced and there was no gap in security leading up to President Obama's visit to Colombia.
"Thank God that it was stopped in time, that they realized what happened and no one was compromised," King said.
He said his committee will be looking into the matter.
