Second Swastika Graffiti Incident In Yonkers
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) A week after five swastikas were found spray painted near the Wakefield train station, WCBS 880's Catherine Cioffi reports ten swastikas were found spray painted around a home on Lincoln Ave. in Yonkers.
The swastikas were found on the side of the house, back of the house, on the patio area and elsewhere.
"We don't think they're connected but it is something the investigators will be looking into," said Detective Sergeant Patrick McCormack.
The owner of the Lincoln Ave. home is not Jewish, says McCormack, but identified himself as being Muslim.
"We're definitely going to be looking into the incident to see if it was directed towards him or the residents, other people in the area...that's something that the investigators are going to be looking at," said McCormack.
