Second Suspect Identified In Queens Subway Station Stabbing
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police Sunday night identified a second suspect wanted in the stabbing of three people at the Jamaica Center subway station in Queens.
The incident took place at around 3:30 p.m. on Monday of last week, when a group of teens were fighting and the situation spilled over onto the platform at the Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer E, J and Z train stop.
One victim, a 17-year-old boy, was stabbed in the leg. Two other boys or young men – one 18, the other of an unspecified age – were stabbed in the torso, police said.
The victims were taken to Jamaica Hospital. Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Police this past Wednesday released a surveillance image and video of one suspect – a teenage boy – leaving through the turnstile. An image of a second suspect was released Sunday night, also exiting through a turnstile.
Anyone who might know his identity is asked to call police.
