Search Under Way For Suspects In Brooklyn Home Invasion, Robbery
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Saturday were searching for two men in home invasion and robbery in East New York, Brooklyn.
Around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, the two men forced their way into a residential building at 375 Williams Ave. in Brooklyn, police said. Once inside, one of the suspects flashed a gun and forced the victims – a 24-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman – to lie down facing the floor.
The suspects went on to take two flat screen televisions, a watch, and a wallet, police said.
After leaving, the suspects fired a gunshot toward the victims' window from the street, and fled into a nearby building at 400 Williams Ave., police said.
No one was injured.
One of the suspects was described as a black male in his early 20s, standing 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and weighing about 250 pounds, with braided hair and wearing a red pullover hooded sweat shirt.
The other was described as a black male in his early 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build.
Police have released a surveillance photo of the suspects.
