The Mets return to Citi Field after going 5-6 on their road trip.
Three of the six losses came in the bottom of the 9th or in extra-innings, giving the Mets a total of 12 walkoff losses this season.
According to Ultimatemets.com, the Mets' 12 walk-off losses equal the fifth-most in their history.

Zack Wheeler struck out 12 batters over six innings in the Mets' 4-1 win last Thursday night in San Diego. Wheeler is just the fourth Mets rookie to fan 12 or more batters in a road start:

Pedro Feliciano lost two games in relief on the road trip. The lefthander returned to the Mets this month, making his first major league appearance since 2010. Despite being a member of four other organizations, Feliciano has never pitched in the majors for any team other than the Mets. The Mets host the NL East-leading Braves and the AL Central-leading Tigers this week. The Mets are 6-7 so far this season against Atlanta, going 3 and 4 in the games played at Citi Field.
The Tigers will be making their second visit to Citi Field, the Mets took two of three at home against Detroit in 2010. Other than the Yankees (and Astros, who moved from the NL this season), the Tigers will become the only AL team to have faced the Mets at Citi Field in more than one series.
