Saturday Highs To Reach 45 Degrees
NEW YORK (CBS 2) – Saturday started with warm temperatures not seen all week, and those temps are expected to stay throughout the weekend, CBS 2's John Marshall reports.
Saturday will have a high of 45 degrees—one degree above normal—as a westerly breeze of 8 mph keeps the wind chill factor out of the picture.
Clouds will be increasing throughout the day and into the evening as a system approaches from the west bringing rain into the tri-state on Sunday.
Saturday night's low will be 41 degrees in the city as some areas dip below freezing. There's a chance for black ice in parts of Northern New Jersey, Northeast Connecticut and Lower Hudson Valley.
So if you've got things to do, Saturday's the better day to do it, Marshall said.
