Santa's Mailbox Now Open For Kids On Long Island
EAST MEADOW, NY (WCBS 880) -- Children on Long Island had a special way this Black Friday to send Santa their holiday wish lists, Sophia Hall reports.
Children could come to any one of Nassau County's parks, including Eisenhower Park in East Meadow to drop off their letters to jolly St. Nick.
Each park had a special North Pole mailbox where holiday elves will help deliver the special requests until December 17.
The County Executive told Hall that special Santa-grams or non-committal letters will be sent to the children who leave their names and addresses.
