Police: Arrest Made After LI Man Found Dead In Huntington
HUNTINGTON, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Suffolk County police have made an arrest after a man was found dead in Huntington earlier this week.
Edwin Rivera, 39, of Bay Shore, was discovered unconscious and lying on the ground next to his 2015 Mercedes on Clinton Avenue early Wednesday morning, police said. The victim was taken to Huntington Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Samuel White, 32, of Brentwood, was arrested in connection to Rivera's death after the victim's death was ruled criminal.
White faces charges of first-degree manslaughter and is expected in Central Islip court for arraignment on Thursday.
