Rolle On WFAN: Andre Brown Was 'The Player Of The Game, By Far'
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Giants safety Antrel Rolle joined Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts on Tuesday morning to discuss Big Blue's 24-20 win over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
The Giants improved to 3-6 following the victory at MetLife Stadium.

"You tell me what safety in the NFL is playing better football than this guy -- there aren't many," Benigno said of Rolle.
Benigno called the Giants' defense "dominant" in Sunday's victory. Rolle has noticed the communication between himself and teammates has improved every game.

"Our communication skills get better each and every week," Rolle said. "The players and coaches being on the same page gets better every week. Us just going out there and having fun, and being an attacking defense -- I think that just fills up everything."
Rolle critically had a touchdown-saving play against Raiders' running back Rashad Jennings. Roberts described it as a "huge play" on the Giants' defensive stand.
The Giants' safety began the play in the wrong position, as Rolle was lined up at middle linebacker. He was able to recover and make a crucial play.
"I actually kinda put myself in the wrong position," Rolle said. "I put myself at the middle linebacker position. I was supposed to go out there and adjust on the linebacker, who motioned out."
Rolle's philosophy is to "make a play whenever it presents itself."
He said that the Giants were "playing a little too passive" during their 0-6 start. Rolle senses that Big Blue's attitude has changed.
"Sometimes in this game, you have to take chances," Rolle said. "When you see the ball, you have to attack it. If something bad goes on, you live to play another down. You can't be afraid to go out there and attack the ball."
Rolle was impressed by running back Andre Brown's gutsy effort against Oakland. He called Brown "the player of the game." Brown returned from injured reserve on Sunday. He gained 115 yards on the ground and scored the go-ahead touchdown.
"His heart carried him along the way," Rolle said. "Player of the game, by far."
The injury-hit Green Bay Packers visit MetLife Stadium on Sunday. Star quarterback Aaron Rodgers is out due to a broken collarbone. Rolle and the Giants are looking to take their win streak to four in a row.
