Robbers Strike Multiple Businesses In Brooklyn, Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Monday were asking for help from the public in finding two men who robbed four businesses in Brooklyn and Queens.
In all the incidents, the suspects walked into the businesses, flashed guns, and demanded cash. No one was injured in any of the robberies.
The robberies happened between Friday, March 1, and this past Friday. The earliest incident happened at 2 p.m., the latest just after 6 p.m.
The robbers held up two Caribbean Air Mail locations, at 7915 Flatlands Ave. in Brooklyn and 221-15 Linden Blvd., in Queens. They also struck the Faith Variety Store, at 1586 Rockaway Pkwy. in Brooklyn, and Caribbean Vision at 218-83 Hempstead Ave. in Queens.
Only in the Caribbean Vision robbery, which happened this past Friday afternoon, did the robbers walk away empty handed. In the other three incidents, they made off with an unknown about of cash.
Police have released photos of the suspects, both described as in their 20s.
