Residents Still Digging Out Near Famous 'Seinfeld' Home
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- George Costanza's parents were said to live in Kew Gardens, but the street shot of their home was actually 37th Street in Astoria, Queens. The location, along with many others in the outer-boroughs, was left buried under snow for days.
Resident Luke Janson told WCBS 880's Ginny Kosola he was still dealing with the storm.

"It was a mess on this street. It was a little bit hectic, crazy," Janson said chuckling.
While things still aren't back to normal on the block, Janson said he hoped "this warm weather will kind of speed things up a bit."
Kosola also spoke to another man visiting his brother in the area. He speculated on what Frank and Estelle Costanza might have done had they been caught up in the blizzard of 2010.
"I think they would have had to deal with canned soup for a couple of days while everything was shut down around here," he said.
But another resident, who lives around the corner, said the characters were stoic New Yorkers.
"Maybe Estelle would have picked up the shovel and come out and pitched in," she said.
Still others believed the famous sitcom couple would have sat tight and relaxed.
"I believe the Costanzas were famous for keeping a parking space for long stretches of time. So they probably would have just buckled down and not had a problem with it," Travis Grilli said.
