Paris Jackson In Hospital Following Apparent Suicide Attempt
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Michael Jackson's daughter remained hospitalized Wednesday night after apparently attempting to take her own life.

Jackson is currently recovering at Children's Hospital in Los Angeles, Kevin Frazier with OMG! Insider told CBS 2.
"What is reported as a self-inflicted wound, from a meat cleaver," Frazier said.
Jackson's mother Debbie Rowe exclusively told "Entertainment Tonight" that Paris, 15, "has a lot going on" and that her daughter tried to kill herself.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department confirmed to ET that they received a 911 call for an overdose at 1:15 a.m. and one person was transported to hospital, CBS News reported.
A prior interview with Jackson's aunt, LaToya, alluded to the teen's wild side.
"She has her own mind and she gets grounded," LaToya Jackson said.
Paris Jackson's troubled mind, hours before her hospitalization was detailed on Twitter.
Jackson posted one tweet Tuesday that quoted Paul McCartney's Beatles classic "Yesterday:" "yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay."
Another Twitter post read, "i wonder why tears are salty ?"
She also tweeted, "everyone thinks i'm over dramatic when i'm upset..." and a quote from a Matchbox 20 song: "i'm not crazy i'm just a little unwell."
Jackson also posted short online videos on Vine, documenting her day, her shorter hairdo, and a run-in with the paparazzi.
She later tweeted, "i hope you guys liked it tho and didn't think i'm too crazy."
Paris reportedly left a suicide note, according to Frazier.
Family members said the 2009 death of the teen's famous father has her reeling.
A statement from her grandmother, Kathryn Jackson, said: "Being a sensitive 15 year old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you."
Jackson is currently under an involuntary psychiatric hold and will be evaluated for the next 72 hours before a decision is made about her release.
This is standard procedure in California for anyone who is deemed a danger to themselves or others, Frazier reported.
