Report: Man Stabbed Girlfriend Before Turning Knife On Himself
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- A man is in critical condition at Lutheran Hospital after stabbing himself and his girlfriend on Saturday, the New York Post reported.
Officers responding to a call at 336 51st Street in the Sunset Park Section of Brooklyn found a 31-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man with stab wounds to the neck.
A source told police that the couple had gotten into a fight and that the man stabbed his girlfriend, before turning the knife on himself, according to the Post.
Both people were taken to the hospital where the woman was pronounced dead on arrival. The couple is believed to have had a history of domestic violence, according to the Post.
