Report: Luis Ayala Rounds Out Yankees' Pitching Staff
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Luis Ayala, you're headed to Yankee Stadium.
With left-hander Pedro Feliciano on the disabled list because of upper arm-shoulder soreness, Ayala will be the final pitcher added to the Yankees' Opening Day staff, reports the NY Daily News.
According to the paper, Ayala "did not fly to New York with the team on Tuesday, but was headed north on a flight Wednesday morning."
Ayala, a right-handed non-roster invitee, beat out lefty Steve Garrison for the job.
