Report: Ex-Dolphins Safety Yeremiah Bell Visiting With Jets Monday
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Gang Green may not wait until this week's NFL draft to fill the holes in their secondary.
Free agent safety Yeremiah Bell will visit the Jets on Monday, according to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com.
Bell's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told WSVN-TV earlier this month the Jets, New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles all had expressed interest in his client.
Free agent cornerback Chris Wilson will also visit Monday with New York, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.
The Dolphins released Bell in March. The 34-year-old topped 100 tackles for Miami four seasons in a row, including a team-high 107 (81 solo) in 2011 to go with two sacks and an interception.
The durable strong safety has appeared in every game since 2008, starting in all but one.
New York added veteran safety LaRon Landry last month on a one-year deal.
