Real Bionic Man On Display At New York City Comic Con
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A team of engineers has assembled a "Bionic Man," using artificial organs, limbs and other body parts, and has been showing it off at the New York City Comic Con.
As 1010 WINS Sonia Rincon reported, he's made up of all the prosthetic and artificial body parts available, and some still not yet available.

Rich Walker of the Shadow Robot Company was getting software – not a human body – to coordinate all the parts.
"Each by themselves stands alone, because it has to, because it's designed to go inside a person, but they don't come together as a coherent whole," he said.
But Walker has still managed to get the Bionic Man to walk, pump artificial blood, and talk.
The Bionic Man said after the New York City Comic Con, he will be heading to the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C., "assuming those idiots in Washington solve the shutdown."
The artificial "man" is the subject of a Smithsonian Channel documentary that airs Sunday, Oct. 20 at 9 p.m. Called "The Incredible Bionic Man," it chronicles engineers' attempt to assemble a functioning body using artificial parts that range from a working kidney and circulation system to cochlear and retina implants.
