Rapper DMX Accused Of Early Morning Robbery In Newark
NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Rapper DMX has been accused of robbing a man in New Jersey.
The alleged victim, 21, told Newark Police he encountered the famous rapper and his entourage at a gas station on Route 21 early Sunday morning.
According to the victim, one of the men pulled out a gun and demanded money, CBS2 reported.
DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, then grabbed $3,200 in cash from his hand, the alleged victim said.
Police said they are investigating the claims.
