Rangers Re-Sign McIlrath And Hughes, Add Jooris
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The New York Rangers agreed to terms with a trio of players Friday, re-signing restricted free agent defensemen Dylan McIlrath and Tommy Hughes and adding former Calgary Flames center Josh Jooris.
As a rookie last season, McIlrath, 24, skated in 34 games and had two goals, two assists and a plus-7 rating, which ranked 13th among all NHL rookies. McIlrath was the 10th overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

Hughes, 24, was signed as an undrafted free agent in April 2013. He has spent the past three seasons playing for the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack.
Jooris, 26, spent the past two seasons for Calgary. In 2015-16, he skated in 59 games and registered four goals and nine assists.
McIlrath's deal is for one year, $800,000. The terms of Hughes' and Jorris' contracts were not known Friday afternoon.
