Race For Attorney General Coming Down To The Wire
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Polls showed Democrat Eric Schneiderman and Republican Dan Donovan were neck and neck in the polls in the race to become New York's Attorney General.

Schneiderman was out in the sunshine Tuesday on W 26th Street and 8th Avenue shaking voters' hands. Schnidermann promised to carry on the work of Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, 1010 WINS' Carol D'Auria reported.
"The public wants an Attorney General to continue his work cracking down on Wall Street, protecting a woman's right to choose, cleaning up the mess in Albany," Schneiderman said.
Donovan, who was campaigning in Brooklyn on Tuesday, said there was a big difference in their candidacies.
"I've been a prosecutor for 15 years. I have the experience to clean up the corruption in Albany and I have no ties to that corruption up there. My opponent has been part of that system for the last 12 years," Donovan said.
Schneiderman is a State Senator from Manhattan and Donovan is the Staten Island District Attorney.
