Police Release Sketch In Queens Road Rage Shooting
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police released a sketch on Friday of a suspect in a road range shooting that left a man wounded in Queens.
Around 3:30 a.m. this past Saturday, a 23-year-old man got into a quarrel with the suspect about traffic while on the Jackie Robinson Parkway near Metropolitan Avenue, police said.
The suspect went back to his car and fired several rounds at the victim's car, striking him in the left thigh and grazing his abdomen, police said.
The suspect then drove off in a dark-colored BMW, police said.
The victim was taken to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was treated and released, police said.
The suspect was described as a light-skinned black male in his mid-20s, standing about 5 feet 8 inches tall.
