NYPD: Wheelchair-Bound Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have arrested a man who they say robbed a bank in Queens while in a wheelchair.
Kelvin Dennison, 23, was arrested Friday and charged with robbery, police said.
Cameras captured him at the counter of the Santander bank on Broadway just after 2 p.m. Monday, police said.
Investigators said he passed a note to the teller demanding cash and then took off after receiving $1,200 in cash.
He was last seen on surveillance video in jeans and grey hoodie rolling his wheelchair westbound on Broadway.
