Queens Animal Shelter Seeks Missing Dog
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The Animal Center of Queens is looking for a black lab that went missing on Sunday around noon.
The shelter said that a couple came to meet the dog for a possible adoption and walked out of the building when no one was looking.
The dog, named Brisco, had been at the shelter in Rego Park since he was pulled from a euthanasia list last November.
The couple is described as white and in their 50's. The man had salt and pepper hair and the woman had blond and gray hair, according to shelter officials.
Anyone with information about the stolen dog is asked to contact Lori Carpino at 347-400-4641.
