Power Restored For Thousands Of PSE&G Customers After Major Outage In New Jersey
HACKENSACK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A large power outage was reported in Bergen County, New Jersey, on Thursday.
At the peak of the outage, about 57,000 customers in Bergen and Hudson counties were without power.
Service was restored for most customers by 7 p.m.
The outage appeared to be affecting Hackensack and surrounding towns.
Hackensack University Medical Center had to run on backup generators.
There's no word yet on what caused the outage.
