Prosecutors: NJ Man Who Worked In Medical Offices Charged With Sex Assault
HACKENSACK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Prosecutors have charged a Metuchen man who worked as an assistant in medical offices in New Jersey with sexual assault and criminal sexual contact.
Gung "Dan'' Kim, 29, was arrested Wednesday and released on $50,000 bail.
Bergen County prosecutors said two female patients told police Kim touched them in a sexual manner on separate occasions.
It happened at the Edison Kidney Center in Edison and at a satellite office in Fort Lee, where Kim has worked since September, prosecutors said.
Kim is an assistant in the offices and is not a licensed physician or nurse, according to authorities. Prosecutors said it appears the two female patients were unaware of his position.
A judge ordered Kim to have no contact with the alleged victims and to surrender his passport. He is also prohibited from working at the medical group.
