NJ Man Who Won $338 Million Powerball Jackpot Charged With Sexually Assaulting A Child

PATERSON, NJ (CBSNewYork) - A New Jersey man who won a $338 million Powerball jackpot is accused of sexually assaulting a young girl.

Pedro Quezada, 49, faces charges of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Prosecutors allege he assaulted the victim from when she was 11 until she was 14.

If convicted, Quezada could face up to 20 years in prison.

Quezada won the jackpot back in 2013. He claimed a lump-sum payment of $221 million, or roughly $152 million after taxes.
