Taking a look at the latest best and worst stories on the NY/NJ sports landscape:
THREE UP
1. Kristaps Porzingis
He's the most adored athlete in NYC right now -- even if his buzzer beater Wednesday night didn't count.
2. Henrik Lundqvist
King Henrik is sporting phenomenal stats as usual, and he also made an appearance on Jimmy Fallon's show. Not a bad week.
3. Mets + Scott Boras
All seems well between the two sides, after what had been a contentious situation during the season. Matt Harvey's agent says the team handled his client's innings and recovery well.
THREE DOWN
1. Ryan Strome
Coming off a 50-point season, Strome struggled out of the gate and was sent down to the minors. Hopefully, it won't last long.
2. Daily Fantasy Sports
The NY Attorney General has labeled sites like FanDuel and DraftKings as gambling sites and declared them illegal in the state. Promo code: ceaseanddesist.
3. Nets
Brooklyn finally got its first win of the season, but at 1-7, that hardly matters. It's going to be a long season.
